Every engagement is led by finance professionals who've sat inside the companies we now advise — not consultants reciting frameworks, but operators who've closed the books, sat in the room, and made the call.
After years of helping large corporations meet quarterly earnings goals, Alex found his real calling in helping small and mid-sized businesses build the financial discipline those companies take for granted. He now dedicates his work to sharing that expertise with private businesses that often lack the resources to access it.
Before founding Burn the Ships, Alex spent nearly 15 years as a divisional CFO across several Fortune 500 companies, working as a strategic partner to operational leadership in industries ranging from consumer products to industrial manufacturing.
He holds a BS in Management from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Wake Forest. Before his corporate career, he served as a Naval Officer with multiple deployments to the Persian Gulf and Indian Ocean. Alex is also a founding member of the Peachtree Corners City Council, elected four times. He's married with four children.
